You’re not failing. You’re exhausted.

And you’ve been carrying more than anyone realizes.

Most parents don’t talk about how lonely and confusing it is when their teen starts shutting down, blowing up, or slipping away. You’re doing everything you can, and still it feels like things are falling apart.

You’re not broken. You’ve just never been given a roadmap for this kind of crisis.

This guide will help you:

Understand why traditional solutions might not be working for your teen

Explore the 6 Dimensions of Teen Wellness so you know what to look for

Ask better questions and make better decisions - starting now

Feel less alone and more empowered in one of the hardest parenting seasons

This isn’t just more advice.

It’s a clear starting point, grounded in real insight, to help you figure out what your teen actually needs.

I'm Riley Cochran

Parent Coach • Teen Treatment Specialist

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Addiction Counselor based in Colorado, with over a decade of experience walking alongside teens and families through everything from quiet disconnection to full-blown crisis.

With extensive clinical training in teen development, trauma, attachment, family systems, assessment and treatment planning, and substance use - along with years spent in treatment centers, crisis programs, and community care - I specialize in helping teens who feel lost, angry, or shut down. I also support parents who feel worn out, unsure, or afraid they’re losing their child.

My approach is trauma-informed, relational, and grounded in a deep respect for each family’s story. This work is personal to me, and I’m here to offer steady support that actually works, without judgment, and with the tools that help families find their way back to each other (and themselves).
